Canberra wine grape growers are dedicated to producing top quality grapes for premium quality cool climate wines.

The first grapevines were planted in the district in the 1840’s and there are now more than 100 vineyards in the district. The Viticultural Society of the Southern Tablelands and ACT was set up in 1993 to support growers in their quest for superlative grapes.
